30ft Double-Wing Expandable Container | Standard Camp Dormitory
The 30-foot double-wing expandable container is the well-balanced option among expandable units. It offers more space than a 20ft model and delivers better transport performance than a 40-ft unit.
Fully-expanded dimension is approx. 9×6.22×2.48 m with a usable area of around 56 ㎡,
and two layouts are available: 3-bedroom + 1-bathroom + shared corridor or 2-bedroom + living room + kitchen & bathroom,
which serves perfectly as a standard accommodation unit for 4-6-person work crews.
It features three key strengths for EPC camp projects in the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia.
Optimized for sea freight: One unit fits into a single 40HQ container. Compared with 40-ft units, it enables more flexible cost allocation for consolidated shipments.
Rapid on-site deployment: Only 2-4 workers are required; full expansion and levelling can be finished within one hour without heavy dependence on local labour.
Factory pre-finished, move-in-ready upon arrival: Interior finishes, bathroom fixtures, AC mounting positions, low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems are prefabricated inhouse in compliance with local voltage and codes. Units are ready for occupancy on delivery and avoid messy onsite finishing at camps.
For main contractors, the 30-ft unit is a standardised accommodation SKU.
Dozens of identical units can be deployed with neat site layout and unified operation & maintenance. The modules are also convenient for later resale or redeployment.
